Hello, I am you wonderful Admin, the Sarcastic Autist. You may know me from my blog. You might know me from real life. You might not know me at all and have stumbled across this accidentally. In any case, welcome!
I decided to do a book club for The Body Keeps the Score because I kept suggesting it to friends after my therapist had me read it. It's a good book. It's very informative. It's also very dense and can be very activating. My hopes for this book club/forum thingy is that there can at least be some good discussion and support from reading it.
About myself. My favourite food is ramen, granny smith apples, and Taco Bell. I'm vegan. I am 27 years old. I have been studying Japanese for over 3 years and have just started Danish and I am also picking up American Sign Language again. I love books and reading. I have a long history of trauma and have been with my current therapist for over 3 years now. I've been doing DBT stuff with her. I am also nonbinary, preferring the term enby. I use they/them/theirs and ze/zir/zirs pronouns.
I also have a cat.
